- 3/4 pound fresh Hawaiian Ono, sliced into two filets
- 2 tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. organic avocado oil
- 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. crushed garlic
In a small bowl mix together the soy, lemon, oil, liquid smoke, Old Bay and garlic.
Place the Ono filets in a glass dish and pour the marinade over the top. Use tongs to move the fish and flip making sure all sides of the filets are covered in marinade.
Cover the dish and put into the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes, or until you're ready to grill.
Heat the grill to 400F and grill 3 minutes per side.
Enjoy with your favorite side. We had grilled veggie packs with baby potatoes, zucchini, bell pepper and onion. YUM!
