- 4 cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp. salt
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 tbsp. water
Mix the onion, sugar, vinegar and water in a bowl. Add the cucumbers and mix well. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
Let sit 2 hours in the refrigerator.
