Grilled Blackened Hawaiian Opah

  • 1 lb. Hawaiian Opah, sliced into fillets
  • 2 tbsp. avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp. smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme powder
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

Mix all of the seasonings in a small bowl.  Add the oil and stir to combine.

Use your hands or a silicone brush to smear the rub over all sides of the fish fillets.  Move to the fridge for an hour, until ready to grill.

Add the fish to a hot grill and grill for 2-3 minutes per side.

Enjoy with your favorite side.
